I enrolled at RTS because I wanted to have a better grasp of biblical principles, and felt inadequate to teach God’s word and apply it in my life. From the very first class at RTS, I was challenged. My professors were not afraid to ask the difficult questions, and I was not given pat Sunday School answers. Having a seminary education has helped me both professionally and personally. Working as a licensed professional counselor, I have been able to apply biblical principles in counseling sessions. My training at RTS has enhanced my biblical worldview and improved my critical thinking skills. My studies also helped me to gain a theological foundation, which helped me understand God’s grace in a fallen world, as I wrestled with the death of my husband. This foundation ultimately led me to find peace and hope in the sovereignty of God.
