With the dual degree options at RTS, you don’t have to start from scratch on your second degree. For RTS degrees completed within the last ten years, your prior coursework counts! In certain degree combinations, students may complete a dual degree with as few as 33 extra credit hours.

What degrees can I combine?

In addition to regular fall and spring courses, MACC courses are available in summer and winter intensives, which allows students to complete this degree on a part-time schedule. When combined with the MDiv, a total of 139 credits are required When combined with the MABS or MATS, a total of 99 credits are required. In both cases, that is merely 33 credits to complete the MACC program in addition to the other degree.

 

The MDiv may most easily be combined with the MACC program for an additional 33 credits, for a total of 139 credits for this dual degree combination. Students who wish to earn a dual MDiv/MAC degree will need to complete ____ total credits.

No. Because this combination would require so many electives, we do not allow students to combine the MDiv with any academic MA degrees.

Credits up to 15 years old may be applied toward a second degree.

When transferring from other seminaries, the content of the classes you took must match those of the corresponding RTS courses. Your RTS campus registrar will assist in determining which courses will carry over to apply to your dual degree from RTS.
