Pastoral Intern: Redeeming Grace PCA
Job Description:
A conservative PCA church, firmly committed to the means of grace, seeks a dedicated intern to support our ministry and grow in the practice of Reformed pastoral work. This internship is designed for individuals called to pastoral ministry within the Reformed tradition, with a strong emphasis on Word, sacrament, and prayer.
Key Responsibilities:
(will include a mix of the following with exact duties at certain times depending on the needs of the church and will be directed by both the DCE and the senior pastor)
– Support youth ministries
– Lead age-appropriate Bible studies and discussions
– Assist in catechetical instruction for all ages
– Assist in administrative tasks related to church operations
– Engage in personal Biblical study and reflection
Position Qualifications:
Qualifications:
– Strong commitment to Reformed theology and PCA doctrinal standards
– Current enrollment in college or an accredited seminary
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrated leadership abilities in church settings
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
– Commitment to personal spiritual growth and discipleship
Requirements:
– Affirm the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms
– Willing to adhere to conservative theological and social positions
