Middle School Pastoral Intern: Siloam Church

Job Description:

The Middle School Pastoral Intern will be in charge of pastoring the English-speaking Middle School ministry. We are looking for someone who can work Part-Time but willing to talk with Full-Time candidates as well. Some of the regular responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Sunday Service 7:30AM-2:30PM.
  2. Wednesday Night Service 7:30PM-9:30PM.
  3. Early Morning Prayer & Office Hours (determined together)
  4. Tuesday Staff Meetings

  3. Pastoral Heart (The sympathy of giving biblical counseling yet the courage, if necessary, to provide church discipline)

  5. Teamwork (Working with Staff, Session, Parents)

Position Qualifications:

  1. Preferred to have a Master of Divinity (from a reformed seminary) or currently is working towards a Master of Divinity.
  2. Must be able to subscribe to the PCA standards (Westminster Confession of Faith, Westminster Larger & Shorter Catechisms, Book of Church Order).
  3. Must either be in or willing to be under the care of a PCA Presbytery.
  4. Preferably at least 3 years of ministry experience (not necessarily as a pastor).
  5. Strongly Preferred: bilingual (Korean and English because of our context).
