Student Ministry Director/Pastor: Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church

Job Description:

The Student Ministry Director/Pastor is primarily responsible to lead, oversee, coordinate, and manage the student ministries of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church that edify and equip our students in our core values. He is to do so in a manner that is consistent with the Scriptures primarily, and the current mission, vision, and values of Cedar Crest BFC.

Position Qualifications:

  • Relationship with God: The candidate knows their sins are forgiven through faith in the
    finished work of Jesus Christ alone. The candidate has been baptized by immersion as a
    disciple of Jesus and is walking in daily communion with God through the means of
    grace (e.g., Scripture reading/meditation, prayer, faithful church participation, the
    Lord’s Supper, etc.)
  • Qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9: The candidate is maturing in these qualities and would be fit to serve as an elder.
  • Doctrine: The candidate is in full agreement with:
  • Philosophy of Ministry: The candidate is in full agreement with the Mission Statement
    and Core Values of Cedar Crest BFC.
  • Experience: 3 or more years working with and teaching students (or equivalent).
  • Education: 4-year college degree or seminary degree in Bible, Theology, Ministry (or
    equivalent). (Candidates lacking formal degree in Ministry with exceptional experience
    will be considered.)
  • Membership: The candidate will become a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship
    Church
  • Ordination: The candidate will possess or pursue ordination in the Bible Fellowship
    Church within the first two years.
  • Clearances: The candidate is willing and able to pass all required child clearances
