Summary
The Ministry Director (MD) will serve as team-leader and project manager over major strategic events and initiatives, and will develop core ministry systems. The MD will lead and direct part-time administrative staff and member-volunteers, and work closely with the pastor. This role is part-time (20 hours/week) and short-term (January to June 2025, with possibility of extension).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support part-time administrative staff (communications, Sunday operations, event support)
- Manage and execute strategic events and initiatives, deploying staff and working with the pastor (see examples below)
- Develop and improve ministry systems (e.g., communications, newcomer integration, member-volunteer involvement, Sunday systems)
- Assist with hiring of part-time staff as needed

- Project management experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; strategic thinker, able to plan and execute complex ministry plans
- Strong leader and empowerer of others; strong relational skills
- Energetic, activating leadership and management style
- Embraces Grace Meridian Hill’s vision and values (gospel, city/neighborhood, cross-cultural, evangelism, mercy)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
