Job Description:

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare and preach weekly sermons from the Bible in an engaging, challenging, and truthful manner.  
Role in the Church
The pastor will be expected to be an active, integrated member of the congregation. This position will work closely with the leadership (deacons and elders) as well as the church staff (worship coordinator and administrator) to guide the church in a dignified manner consistent with the teachings of the Bible. The pastor will be expected to provide spiritual guidance for members and encourage growth in Christ.

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Ordained (or on the path to ordination)  in the Christian Reformed denomination 
  • Able to provide strong, scripture-based leadership from the Reformed perspective
  • Preaching experience preferred
