Dr. G.K. Beale will be joining the RTS Dallas faculty beginning in June of 2021. Within the Master of Divinity and Master of Arts (Theological Studies) programs, Dr. Beale will teach courses on the New Testament, biblical languages and exegesis, and biblical theology, all of which are vital to pastoral ministry.

Why study the original languages?

One of the important aspects of teaching Greek and Hebrew is to equip students with an interpretative approach that will enable them to find the main point and follow the flow of thought in a paragraph or chapter of Scripture. This is crucial to preaching, since it will enable preachers to:

Focus on the main point of a passage
Craft the main homiletical idea in conformity to that main point
