The Grimké Lecture Series continues this semester, at the Alonzo and Althea Edmiston Center for the Study of the Bible and Ethnicity at RTS Atlanta. This semester, the lecture series highlights Christian speakers from our own backyard who are involved in local ministry. Named for Francis J. Grimké, our lecture series provides a place of mutual encouragement for pastors, community leaders, and laypersons that connects local and global concerns in a prayerful, Kingdom-centered setting.

On Tuesday, March 31, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at RTS Atlanta’s Edmiston Center, we will host Pastor Byung Ham sharing from 2 Kings 5: The Remarkable Thing about Grace. In his 45-minute talk, he will explore Naaman’s miraculous healing from leprosy, and the relevance of God’s lavish grace from a Korean American perspective. A time for audience Q&A will follow his talk.

About the Speaker:

Byung was born in S. Korea, brought to the United States as an infant, and raised in Baltimore, MD. He is a proud Baltimorean and an avid Orioles fan.

Byung studied at Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary. For the last twenty years, he has been a local pastor and an itinerant speaker, and today he serves the community of Ponce Presbyterian Church with his beautiful and talented wife, Nikki. Currently, Byung and Nikki are settling into life in Atlanta, GA.

Please RSVP by 5:00 PM on Monday, March 30. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
