(JACKSON, Miss.) — Reformed Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryant Jackson as Assistant Director of Finance. Jackson will replace Robert Hollingsworth, who retired at the end of July.
Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree from Belmont University, where he studied Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting. Since graduating, he has held various accounting positions at multiple companies. Jackson also attained his MBA from Mississippi State. Most recently, he worked for BeyondTrust (formerly known as the Bomgar Corporation) as a Senior Revenue Analyst. Prior to his work at BeyondTrust, he worked for Vanderbilt University Medical Center in accounting.
Ken Wiandt, the Director of Finance for RTS, said, “Bryant brings a wealth of accounting and business knowledge (almost 15 years) to RTS based on his experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. His expertise should bring much value to the finance department of RTS. We are all looking forward to working with Bryant!”
Jackson is filling the role formerly held by Robert Hollingsworth, who worked for RTS for 18 years. Hollingsworth was also a student at RTS in the ’70s. “Robert’s service is a testament to the Lord’s goodness to RTS,” Wiandt commented. “We pray the Lord’s blessings on Robert and his family as he transitions into a new phase of life.”
Jackson will be working with Wiandt to develop good business practices for the institution and will help prepare financial statements and reports. Brad Tisdale, Chief Operations and Financial Officer, shared, “Bryant has a heart to serve and I am thankful to have his expertise to help RTS in this critical area that supports the whole institution.”
Jackson and his wife, Leanna, attend Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi, with their son, Emmerson. In Jackson’s spare time, he enjoys traditional woodworking.
