The RTS Jackson Student Services Committee is excited to invite you and your family to our Community Engagement Day, when we will spend some time loving our neighbors in West Jackson by praying for them, picking up trash, and eating at Martin’s Fish House located on Clinton Boulevard. This is a great opportunity for students at RTS to display the love of Christ to our neighbors and to “do good to everyone” (Gal 6:10).
We will meet at the pavilion next to Patterson’s Porch at 9:00 am and walk together to Raines Park on Clinton Boulevard, as we pick up trash and meet neighbors in our community. We will end with a time of prayer for our neighborhood and have lunch together at Martin’s Fish House across the street from Raines Park at 11:00 am.
Please bring cash if you plan on eating lunch afterwards. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Contact Jim Scott with any questions.
