(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The following letter is posted with permission from the family of Dr. Howard Griffith:
Dear friends,
As many of you may already know, our father, Howard Griffith, passed away in his sleep early in the morning on March 20. After a long battle with cancer, he has gone to be with his heavenly Father in glory. We are so thankful for the example of faith that he gave us, and that the Lord took him quickly without prolonged suffering or pain.
The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m., to be held at McLean Presbyterian Church (1020 Balls Hill Rd., McLean, VA, 22101), with a reception to follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, our mother wishes that those who are interested make a contribution to the Washington, D.C. campus of Reformed Theological Seminary, the institution that Howard loved and served so faithfully as professor and dean.
