About Mr. Bryant
A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Matthew has spent the past 18 years working in various roles in higher education. Prior to joining RTS in 2017, Matthew served for 14 years on staff at Covenant College, working in a variety of roles related to admissions, church relations, communications, and financial aid. Upon his departure from Covenant, he was serving as interim Vice President of Admissions. He then served two years as Vice President of Advancement at Chattanooga Christian School, overseeing development, communications, and admissions.
At RTS, Matthew oversees Development across the institution, supporting Chancellor Duncan in major donor development work and helping to grow fundraising. In his free time, he also works as a fundraising consultant with Canaan Group and Associates. Matthew is a past President of the Pachyderm Club in Chattanooga and a past Chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party. He is an Eagle Scout, serves on the Boards of the Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Heritage Center and the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf, and is an active member at Rock Creek Fellowship (PCA). Matthew and his wife Jocelyn make their home in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, with their four children.
