Center for the Study of the Bible and Ethnicity Grimké Lecture Series

As the Center for the Study of the Bible and Ethnicity continues to develop as a community hub, RTS Atlanta is expanding the Grimké Lecture Series this spring semester to highlight the work of passionate, local and global ministry leaders among us.

The CSBE equips leaders to minister effectively within multi-ethnic, cross-cultural, and mono-ethnic contexts by fostering an appreciation for the histories and cultures of people groups that are outside of the dominant culture. The center promotes theological education and reflection on these topics and how they inform and impact local and global ministry in the 21st century.RTS Atlanta will be hosting Barbara Jones, a Mobilization Specialist for Mission to the World (MTW). Barbara will be speaking on the topic, Encouraging A Local and Global Mindset, highlighting the transcendent Scriptural principles that drive the work of RADD (Reformed and Diverse Delegates) and MTW’s new 1% campaign, and to speak from her unique perspective as one who facilitates both local and global mission work.

The second talk in the Grimké Lecture Series this spring semester will be given on Thursday, March 7th, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M., at the RTS Atlanta campus
Please RSVP here by 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5th. Dinner provided for those who submit payment during registration.
