I felt called to pastoral ministry, and getting an MDiv seemed like a logical next step in discerning that calling. Starting this process was invigorating and left me dependent upon God. From the beginning, I realized that I had made the right decision to be at RTS; the timing and location of the classes worked with my schedule, too! One of the most practical benefits of my time at RTS is that I have tools in my ministry toolbox that help me to be a better pastor. For example, I am able to explain theological concepts to help people who are struggling with their faith. I am more winsomely reformed, as I am able to take my education and distill and contextualize it in order to share the gospel with people from different walks of life.
