Dr. Michael J. Kruger, president of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Dave Latham to the staff of the Charlotte campus. Rev. Latham will serve as the director of admissions and recruitment beginning June 1st, 2015.
Latham is currently a minister with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. RUF is one of the fastest growing campus ministries in the United States and is now at 140 colleges and universities across the country. Latham came to CNU five years ago to plant the first RUF on that campus. Prior to that, Latham managed the campus bookstore at RTS Charlotte.
Dr. Kruger said, “We are thrilled to have Dave Latham join us back at RTS Charlotte, his alma mater, and we believe he has the unique combination of experience and skills to represent RTS Charlotte for many years to come. Dave brings a love for the church, a commitment to the vision of RTS, and a deep affection for the students.”
Latham is a native of South Carolina, born in Charleston but reared in Greenwood. He holds an undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Latham has been married to his wife Rebecca for 11 years and they have two children, Stokes (6 years old) and Ellie-Grace (3 years old).
