About Mrs. Murphey
Michelle Murphy moved into the role of Payroll, Benefits & Budget Manager in June 2026. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing payroll processing, administering employee benefits, and managing budget planning and tracking for the department. Prior to this position, Michelle served as Director of Human Resources, a role centered on HR operations, employee relations, and organizational policy oversight.
Outside of work, Michelle is a member of First Ridgeland Baptist Church, where she is involved in the young adult and women’s ministries. She is also a mother to one son, Aaron. In her free time, Michelle enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, and attending her son’s sports events.
