About Mr. Scott
Jim currently serves as Senior Director of Operations for the Jackson campus of Reformed Theological Seminary. Jim is married to Melissa, and they have two children, Parker and Caroline. His family are members of Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland, MS, where he also serves as a deacon. Jim received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Belhaven University in 2014. He went on to obtain a Master’s of Education in Higher Education degree from Abilene Christian University in 2018, specializing in student affairs and higher education administration. Prior to coming to RTS Jim served for four years at Belhaven University in both the Student Life and Campus Operations divisions. Jim first joined RTS Jackson in 2018 as the Director of Student Services, and has provided leadership for campus operations since 2020. Jim additionally served for five years (2021-2026) as Special Assistant to the Chancellor, providing leadership for RTS Jackson’s relocation process.
