About Mr. Van Buren
Jermaine Van Buren is originally from Hattiesburg, MS, where he graduated from Oak Grove High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts – Theatre at Troy University. In 2018, he was converted through Campus Outreach Ministries, and in his senior year answered God’s calling into pastoral ministry with a resounding “Yes!”
He enrolled at RTS Jackson in August 2020 as a Master of Divinity student with an emphasis in Counseling. He is a Pastoral Intern at Redeemer Church, where he also serves in music ministry. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue a campus minister position with Reformed University Fellowship at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
