RTS Charlotte exists to train men and women for a lifetime of faithful ministry, where Christ is exalted, his Word is central, and hearts are shaped by the gospel. For over 25 years, we’ve equipped students to serve the church in Charlotte and around the world.
Located on a 20-acre campus just south of uptown, RTS Charlotte offers a strong on-campus community, rich faculty investment, and unparalleled ministry opportunities in a city with over 3,000 churches. Local churches, church plants, and campus ministries provide more internships than the seminary currently has capacity to fill. Our programs combine rigorous theology with practical training—through internships, church partnerships, and specialized centers like the Center for Campus Ministry and the Center for Church Planting, which offer unique classes, lectures, seminars, and hands-on experience.
Celebrating 30 Years
Join with us as we celebrate our 30th year in Charlotte. In 1992 in an office building on Monroe Road, a handful of students enrolled in 2 or 3 classes. Ever since then, for all of its 30 years, RTS Charlotte has provided faithful scholarship in service to the Church, maintaining its commitment to Biblical fidelity and the centrality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over 760 RTS Charlotte alumni have impacted tens of thousands with the Gospel.
