RTS Charlotte Community
Life Together
RTS Charlotte is more than a place to study—it’s a place to worship, serve, and grow together. From weekly chapel services to student-led prayer, students build relationships that strengthen both heart and mind for life in ministry.
Chapel
Each week, the RTS Charlotte community gathers to worship, pray, and hear God’s Word preached. Services feature faculty, alumni, local pastors, and students, and are open to all.
Join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 am in the Chapel.
Beautiful Campus
RTS Charlotte features a twenty-acre campus with ample green spaces. Students enjoy study breaks and fellowship in the comfortable coffee shop, around the fire pit, or strolling through the community garden and prayer path in the woods.
Campus Events
Beyond classes, the RTS Charlotte campus has several regular opportunities for students and friends in the community. These include prayer gatherings, coffee fellowship, ministry lunches, faculty forums, a women’s Bible study, and Equip and HOJB lectures.
Campus Specific Scholarship
The Charlotte campus offers several named scholarships to support students in specific ministry paths. These include full-tuition and partial-tuition awards for those pursuing preaching, church planting, counseling, and women’s ministry.

Annual Lectures That Shape Minds and Ministry
Pen and Parchment
An Archive of the Best Student Papers at RTS Charlotte
Students know that research papers are a major part of the seminary experience. RTS Charlotte wants to promote the writing of good research papers among the students and wants to encourage students when they write good papers. In addition, we want to provide a resource where students can see what qualifies as a good paper. For these reasons we are establishing a place on the RTS Charlotte website to publish the best papers each semester. This will be called Pen and Parchment: An Archive of the Best Student Papers at RTS Charlotte.
These papers will come from a variety of courses that require a research paper. The professor will choose the best paper from the course, the paper will be published on the website, and the authors will be announced at the first chapel of each semester."
