Dr. Ligon Duncan commends Dr. R.C. Sproul’s classic work The Holiness of God. The Holiness of God introduces God’s greatness and holiness to pastors and believers alike.

Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today I want to introduce you to a classic book, The Holiness of God by Dr. R.C. Sproul. Dr. Sproul taught for Reformed Theological Seminary at the Jackson campus and at the Orlando campus for many, many years. Dr. Sproul’s book The Holiness of God is published by Tyndale House Publishing, and it really is one of the classic devotional texts of the end of the 20th century. It’s a book that people mention in the same breath with J.I. Packer’s Knowing God or John Piper’s Desiring God. It introduces us to the profound reality of God’s greatness and holiness. Pastors will find it helpful as you preach through that theme in the Bible, but all Christians will find it a devotional help to you as you seek to know and serve and love and worship the living God. Thanks so much for listening to RTS Book Notes.
