JACKSON, Miss.— Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) is pleased to announce the promotion of three accomplished individuals to key roles within the seminary. As theological education continues to evolve, these accomplished professionals bring a wealth of expertise, vision, and dedication to ensuring RTS remains a leader in providing Christ-centered, biblically grounded education.

Blake DeWitt – Institutional Director of Information Technology
On December 1, 2024, Blake DeWitt was promoted to Institutional Director of Information Technology. Since joining RTS in 2013, Blake has played a pivotal role in modernizing the seminary’s IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the RTS mission. Blake holds an MS in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University, an MA in Biblical Studies from RTS, and a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida, along with multiple IT certifications. His leadership reflects RTS’s commitment to innovation and exceptional service in information technology.
Amy Honeycutt – Chief Marketing Officer
Amy Honeycutt was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer on January 1, 2025. Since joining RTS as Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media, Amy has transformed the seminary’s marketing strategies, significantly increasing engagement and operational efficiency. She holds a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. With her background in managing high-profile accounts and teaching marketing communications, Amy is well-prepared to expand RTS’s global reach and reputation for excellence.
Kim Shirley – Chief Communications Officer
Promoted on January 1, 2025, Kim Shirley now serves as Chief Communications Officer for RTS. With over 20 years of experience in communications, including leadership roles in both non-profit and faith-based organizations, Kim has made a significant impact at RTS since joining as Senior Director of Communications. Her expertise in strategic planning and cross-campus collaboration will continue to strengthen RTS’s communications strategy. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from Mississippi State University. Her leadership will ensure RTS’s message resonates with clarity, unity, and purpose across all platforms.
