(ORLANDO, Fla.) — The Admissions Office and Counseling faculty of Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando are pleased to announce two Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) admission review cycles for students seeking enrollment into the 2020 MAC cohort.
“Each July we welcome a new cohort into the Master of Arts in Counseling program at RTS Orlando,” explains Dr. Scott Coupland, who has taught in the program for over 20 years. “For two years, we equip these students with academically relevant coursework and 400 hours of supervised counseling experience in our onsite clinic. Our goal is that they will leave here ready to serve as counselors, known for their professional competence and biblical faithfulness.”
Due to limited seating in the 2020 cohort, applicants are encouraged to participate in the fall review cycle. The review process consists of two phases. First, applicants submit an online application, references, transcripts, and an online background check by the application deadline. Second, the MAC faculty will review applications and invite prospective students for a review weekend.
For the fall review cycle, all applications are due on November 1, 2019. The faculty will review applications on November 15-16, and will announce admission decisions on November 29.
For the spring review cycle, applications are due on February 21, 2020. The review weekend will be on March 6-7, and admission decisions will be announced on March 20.
