(JACKSON, Miss.) — Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson is excited to announce its chapel schedule for the spring 2022 semester. Chapel services are held in Grace Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 11:00-11:50 a.m. during the fall and spring semesters.
“RTS Jackson professors are gifted in the classroom and the pulpit,” said Dr. Charlie Wingard, Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology, Dean of Students, and Dean of Chapel at RTS Jackson. “This spring I look forward to their ministry of the Word, which will edify us as it models for our students the right handling of the Word of truth.”
Dr. Miles Van Pelt, Academic Dean and Alan Hayes Belcher, Jr. Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages, added, “Chapel is the one time each week when the RTS community gathers together to do what we were ultimately created to do – to worship our Creator and Redeemer.”
Due to the current conditions of the pandemic, the Jackson campus is delaying the start of its spring chapel schedule until February 23. Dr. Greg Beale will kick off the eight-week chapel series during the inaugural Hughes Lectures.
Following each chapel service, students, faculty, and staff gather for a time of food, fellowship, and prayer in the Sam Patterson Student Center. Friends of RTS in the Jackson area are encouraged to join any of the spring 2022 chapel services, as well as for the lunch and time of fellowship to follow.
