Reformed Theological Seminary is now accepting applications for admission to the 2021 Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) cohorts at the Jackson and Orlando campuses. Candidates may participate in one of two review cycles in the fall or spring.
Dr. Jim Hurley, Professor of Counseling, remarked, “Each summer, we welcome up to 24 new students at each campus. We spend two years with them, teaching them in the classroom, and training them to be counselors in the clinic. Students carefully study biblical truth (God’s Word) and its relationship to things learned from studying God’s creation (psychology) as they gain knowledge and skills needed to become licensed professional counselors (LPC).”
Due to the limited enrollment of each cohort, applicants who desire to secure a spot in the 2021 cohort are encouraged to participate in the fall review cycle. The review process consists of two phases. First, applicants submit an online application, references, transcripts, and an online background check by the application deadline. Second, the MAC faculty review these applications and invite applicants to participate in a program interview.
The application deadlines for the fall and spring review cycles are November 1, 2020, and February 15, 2021, respectively.
