Why is RTS relocating from its current location?

RTS is relocating from its current location in order to be more strategically placed in the city of Jackson to serve students coming from across the street and around the world.

Relocation to the hub of the city is ideal. Our new space could not be more centrally located, enhancing the student experience and allowing the community better access to the seminary’s resources.

Yes. RTS will own their new educational space in the Meadowbrook Office Park as well as affordable and convenient student housing.

The new location will foster a more integrated educational experience. The facilities will be outfitted with state-of-the art class rooms, a world-class theological library, inviting study spaces, and larger faculty offices for hosting students. Students will have access to the best of what Jackson has to offer and be closer to most of the churches who provide mentorship and opportunities to serve.

Yes. Both buildings are undergoing complete renovation.

The new campus will open summer 2023.

Yes. The public will have full access to the theological resources available in the library and bookstore.

June 1, 2023, clients will be seen at the new facility.

Our students in the MAC program will enjoy a technologically advanced counseling center that will provide better opportunities to learn and hone their counseling skills. Further, this new clinic is strategically located to serve the local community. The new Counseling Center at RTS will provide quality mental health care at an affordable price.

Yes. We are purchasing clusters of housing units, within close proximity of the campus, where families, couples, and singles can share life as they train for ministry together.
