Pastor
Job Description: Parkdale Community Church is prayerfully seeking a Full-Time pastor who will join us in nurturing gospel-centered faith, strengthening our church family, and leading us to reach out with courage and compassion to our surrounding community.
Qualifications: - We are seeking a pastor who is ordained, or qualified to be received or ordained (including an M.Div.), in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). - Good relationship skills, interpersonal warmth, genuine, and works well with others. - Organizational orientation. - Effective preacher of the Word, in actions and verbally, spiritually alive. - Able to be a good disciple-builder of all ages. - Experience and maturity. - Ability to train “old” leaders in new ways. - To help us grow in ways we have allowed to slip. - Honesty and transparency - Enthusiasm and energy, with a positive outlook. - Love of God, delight in His Word. - Spirit-filled / Gospel-centered. - Humble / Discerning. - Prayerful (regular practice of spiritual disciplines) - Prepared and communicative - Spanish speaking is a plus (but not necessary)
