Youth Pastor (Director)
Job Description
Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA, in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor (Director) to provide leadership and oversight for the youth ministry (7th-12th grade) in our 3500+ member church. The Youth Pastor would be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a complete student ministry to our covenant students, including programming, discipleship, evangelism, outreach opportunities, retreats, leadership training, staff development, and other ministerial opportunities within the church body. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, along with meaningful support for families. Candidates must be ordained in the PCA or willing to be ordained.

Qualifications
*College graduate; seminary degree or in the process of pursuing a degree; ordained in the PCA or willing to be ordained; previous experience working with youth *Understanding of Biblical and Reformed theology; knowledge of ministry to junior and senior high school students; well-informed about the current youth culture and issues; an understanding of management principles for staff and ministries; financial principles for budgeting *Strong leader; relational; gifted teacher and communicator to youth; personnel management; computer savvy, ability to develop and implement a strategic plan and ministry
