Greek Certificate
By completing the Greek certificate, a student will have gained facility with the vocabulary, grammar, and syntax of New Testament (Koine) Greek in order to be enriched and strengthened in their walk with God through the study of the New Testament Scriptures in their original language.
Hebrew Certificate
By completing the Hebrew certificate, a student will have gained facility with the vocabulary, grammar, and syntax of Biblical (Classical) Hebrew in order to be enriched and strengthened in their walk with God through the study of the Old Testament Scriptures in their original language.

Old Testament
By completing the Old Testament certificate, a student will have gained a foundational understanding of the historical setting, literary style, theme, purpose, and message of each of the 39 Old Testament books.
New Testament
By completing the New Testament certificate, a student will have gained a foundational understanding of the historical setting, literary style, theme, purpose, and message of each of the 27 New Testament books.

Historical Theology
By completing the Certificate in Historical Theology, a student will have a broad knowledge of the history of Christianity from the time of the early church up to the 21st century.
Systematic Theology
By completing the Certificate in Systematic Theology, a student will have a strong grasp of the classical topics (loci) of Christian theology, grounded in God’s self-revelation in Scripture and in dialogue with the creeds and confessions of the church.
Applied Theology
By completing the Certificate in Applied Theology, a student will have a foundational understanding of philosophical and ethical issues grounded in the Christian worldview to promote faithful Christian living and witness.

Yes. A bachelor’s degree is required to begin graduate-level coursework.
Visit the Tuition and Fees page for up-to-date information regarding tuition. By paying up front, all at once, students will receive a 35% discount. By electing to pay in 12 monthly installments, students will receive a 30% discount. When paying in 18 monthly installments, students will receive a 25% discount. Because the coursework is offered at a guaranteed discounted rate, certificate tuition payments are nonrefundable.
Certificate programs are not eligible for additional financial aid.
Yes. All coursework in the certificate programs can be applied to degree programs. Some courses will be applied as fulfilling core requirements, while others may fulfill elective requirements.

- You will be asked to write two brief essays.
- You will need to upload a recent photograph.
- An application fee will be processed before you submit the application.
- You will need to submit official academic transcripts for all colleges or universities you have attended and completed six or more hours.
- You will be asked to supply up to three references as part of this application process.
Students should expect about 3 hours of coursework per week per credit hour.
Since a method of payment for the certificate is required prior to registration, an enrollment deposit is not required for the certificate programs. Because the coursework is offered at a discount, certificate tuition payments are nonrefundable.
Transfer credit may only be applied to degree programs.
