The RTS Women’s Fellowship Retreat will be held on September 27th and 28th at Lake Lorman, and Casey Cockrum, former RUF intern and campus staff and intern counselor, will serve as the keynote speaker. More information is included below, and you can register for the event by clicking here to go to the registration page.
Times: September 27: 5:30pm – until (Speaker session complete by 8:30; dessert and fellowship afterward).
September 28: 8:00am – 3:00pm (Breakfast at 8, speaker starting at 9; 1:30pm-3pm free time to enjoy the lake, pray, and fellowship).
Location: We are staying at two lovely lakehouses on Lake Lorman (24 minutes from campus). Those who are unable to spend the night on Friday evening are welcome to come for as much of the time as possible, which is why the main aspects of the itinerary are included.
Cost: $20 Early bird (by September 16) $25 after September 16. Please pay via cash, and all cash payments can be given to Mary Lowry Vollema.
Included: Dinner Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, snacks, printed learning materials, time on the LAKE!
Speaker: Casey Cockrum, former RUF intern, campus staff and intern counselor, now serves as the RUF director of campus staff. Casey shepherds the campus staff, develops the program, recruits campus staff, and assists with the annual staff assessment. Her experience in counseling women through the joys and difficulties of ministry life will hopefully be encouraging and equipping for us.
