On February 25 Jonatas Cunha and the Great Commission Society are hosting a free Missional Moment Lunch (Chick-fil-a) on campus for all interested students. As a part of our people group of the month, we will be focusing on Quebec, and hearing from the Bert family, who have served in Quebec since graduating from RTS in 2017.

Luke, Rebekah, and their three children (Matthias, Saranna, and Kara) live in Québec Canada. The population of Québec is less than 1% Christian. Luke finished his M.Div. at RTS in 2017, and since then, he has been working at Sembeq, a French-speaking seminary that trains local pastors in partnership with local churches. Our greatest need in Québec is for more teachers, pastors, and resources. Luke will share about not only his own ministry, through which he trains local leaders to teach Christ from all of Scripture, but many other ministry opportunities in Québec and Eastern Canada. The Eastern Canada Presbytery (PCA) has been planting 1-2 churches a year for the last 10 years, and it is not slowing down. However, this event is not just for Presbyterians. Québec has a large Reformed Baptist movement. Whether you are interested in teaching, missions, church planting, translation, publishing, or if you just want to come and learn about the largest unreached mission field in North America, this event will be of interest to you!
