About Mr. Griffin
A Jackson, Mississippi native, Stephen came to the seminary in 2017 as an intern and joined the communications office when the new department was launched. He was promoted to Social Media Manager in 2020.
Stephen joined RTS full time as Communications Content Manager in 2022 after graduating summa cum laude from Mississippi College with a B.S. in mathematics and minors in history and communication. While at MC, he was a student leader in RUF and sang in the university’s premiere choral ensemble. He manages digital and social media content for RTS, producing timely news, marketing, and editorial content, and publicly representing the seminary. He is also managing editor for Ministry & Leadership, the seminary’s magazine. His writing has appeared at The Gospel Coalition, byFaith Online, and Magnolia Tribune.
Stephen is a lifelong member of Highlands Presbyterian Church, where he attends with his wife, Avery. He is delighted to be a part of the RTS family and enjoys using his gifts to serve the institution wherever possible. When he isn’t working, he enjoys reading, making music, drinking coffee, and staying physically active.
