Youth, Young Adult & Family Minister
Job Description:
This is a full-time position ministering to youth, young adults and families. This candidate must have the ability to teach and present Scriptural principles, rightly handling the Word of Truth. This person will be in charge of scheduling and implementing weekly youth meetings, seasonal retreats, mission trips and other programming events. He or she will have opportunity for periodic Sunday preaching with full participation in the ministry of Good News Church.
This position requires solid organizational skills necessary in planning regular meetings and various events. It also requires good social media skills especially as related to growing and maintaining church youth programs. The person filling this position should provide general support for the daily operations of Good News Church and must be a team player able to work well with our staff, volunteers, youth and families.
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or Bible college degree, minimum; MDiv from seminary preferred
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in church youth ministry preferred
Expectation: Grow and develop through personal study, conferences and educational opportunities
