Job Description:

This is a full time (40 hrs/wk) position.

The Youth Minister will work with the other ministry leaders under the headship of the senior pastor as part of a cohesive ministry team that seeks to serve the church family, reach the community, grow the overall ministry, and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.  

The Youth Minister will be responsible for the following:

• Teach Sunday school and weekly Bible study.
• Build discipleship relationships with the youth.
• Enlist, train, and lead adult volunteers to assist in the youth department.
• Coordinate and oversee student events and outreach.
• Develop a ministry plan for the youth that takes into consideration the demographics of our area, the given budget, and the needs of the congregation.  

Position Qualifications:

Applicants should have or be in the process of completing a master’s degree in theology or a related field of study.
