Job Description:
West Springfield Covenant Community Church (PCA) in West Springfield, MA is looking for a full-time intern to serve for 10-12 weeks this summer. The intern will have opportunity to participate in the full range of pastoral duties, including opportunities to preach, teach Sunday School, lead worship, lead Bible Study and prayer meeting, go on pastoral visits, and assist with VBS. He will be mentored by two seasoned pastors, Rob Hill and Rodney Collins. The intern will also be exposed to ministry in the needy mission field of New England. This is a paid internship and includes housing in a separate apartment-style accommodation at the home of a couple in the church. Both single students and those with small families would be able to be accommodated.
Position Qualifications:
A current seminary student preparing for pastoral ministry in the PCA.
