Description of Organization

The Washington campus of RTS is committed to providing faithful, confessional, and theological training to those who would serve Jesus Christ in different contexts around the world as ministers, missionaries, scholars, and lay leadership. Like the rest of RTS, we are committed to rigorous and Christ-Centered ministerial training from a winsomely Reformed perspective.

Our location gives our particular campus unique opportunities. Washington, D.C. is an urban center with global significance; our campus and our students are ongoing participants in political and social conversations in the nation’s capital. Furthermore, since all the nations gather here, our student body is relatively diverse, both culturally and denominationally, allowing us to serve many who would not otherwise encounter the Reformed faith. A good portion of our students are also already engaged in ministry, leading to a richness in the educational experience and increased engagement in the classroom. We aim to take advantage of these opportunities, to be good stewards of the assets and resources at our disposal as we provide faithful, confessional, and practical training to Christ’s future shepherds and leaders.
