Part-Time Coordinator for Childcare
Purpose of job is to coordinate temporary part-time staff for childcare (birth to kindergarten) for all church events other than Sunday morning worship; work with PCPC ministries to determine childcare timelines and needs; hire, train, and manage childcare supervisors and workers. Responsibilities include childcare coordination and supervision of work flow; oversite of and implementation of policies and procedures; ensure adherence to CBC process and Ministry Safe requirements; ensure room and child safety; schedule rooms and manage weekly attendance rosters; maintain Arena Childcare records and generate reports when needed.
Must be able to communicate with grace and effectively interact with employees, parents, volunteers, and children. Must possess a compassionate servant’s heart, pursue excellence, and take initiative. Must be highly relational, child friendly, courteous to co-workers and parents, and attentive to the needs and safety of the children. College degree required. Education or experience with childcare or equivalent of three years minimum in a church or non-church setting. Two years minimum experience in Children’s Ministry on a church staff or equivalent is preferred, but not required. PCPC membership preferred, but not required.
