Part-Time Children’s Craft Coordinator
The purpose of the job is to collaborate primarily with the Preschool Ministry Leader for the planning and creation of crafts for the Preschool Ministry programs/classes with the objective to create the craft projects two weeks ahead of schedule. Job responsibilities include craft implementation for age appropriate crafts as they relate to the curriculum, assess supply needs for crafts, write instructions for crafts, make samples for teachers to see, and place all crafts in rooms prior to the morning of the program/class.
Must possess a servant’s heart and love children. Must love God’s Word and have a natural ability to convey/reflect/reinforce the message of a Bible lesson in or through a craft project. Must be a team player, take initiative, pursue excellence and be attentive to detail. College degree preferred, but not required. Education with art, early childhood education, or art for children is strongly recommended, or an equivalent of three years minimum of related experience (i.e., handcrafts integrated into an educational system for practical application of a teaching lesson). Two years minimum experience in Children’s Ministry on a church staff or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Send cover letter and resume to: email@example.com.
