We are looking for a godly man who is committed to serving Jesus Christ and building His kingdom. He must be a man who genuinely loves God and loves serving God. He must love the Scriptures. He must love studying the Scriptures. He must love teaching the Scriptures. He must be a man who loves our people, and he must be a pastor our people will love. In addition, he must be dispensational, calvinistic, have a theocentric approach in preaching the Word of God and be in full support of our Statement of Faith.
We require the pastor to meet the qualifications in I Timothy and Titus. He must have 2 or more years’ experience in pastoral ministry. It’s important that he is comfortable living / ministering in a rural context to a weekly congregation of 100-120. The gifts of shepherding and teaching are essential. The pastor will join the elder board in effectively ministering to all generational groups within our church and community. (Although our current demographic leans older in this rural community, we believe it’s critical that our church always minister effectively to the younger generations as well).
Please look over this job description and the church website. Along with your resume please answer these questions:
- Why do you believe that you might be a good fit for Community Bible Church?
- Describe your experiences in ministry and how you may be qualified to serve as the Pastor of Community Bible Church?
- In just a few sentences please give a summary of your theology and how that is in line with the doctrine of Community Bible Church?
Please send your resume, the answers to these questions and a link to at least one online sermon to Jason@LancasterSearch.com

Description of Organization
Our purpose at CBC is to glorify God and to do so by maintaining regular public worship, building up one another in the faith, promoting systematic study and teaching of the Bible, and participating in the evangelization of the lost both locally and throughout the world. Our current pastor, David Stuckey, is the founding pastor and has served faithfully for more than 25 years. He is 79 years old and believes that it is time for him to step down. It is his desire, and the desire of the church, that we find a replacement before he does step down.Contact Via Email
