Assistant Director for Children’s Ministry

Job Description:

Purpose of position: to assist in giving leadership to the children’s ministry of Lake Baldwin Church, in light of the vision and values of the church. (The Children’s Ministry is called SPLASH Kids.

Reports to: SPLASH Kids Director

Works closely with: SPLASH Leadership Team; volunteers; parents and children

Qualifications:
Responsibilities

Become proficient in a range of SPLASH responsibilities.
Curriculum prep
Participate on the SPLASH Leadership Team.
Serve as Sunday Coordinator on 5th Sundays and as needed.
Help gather props and supplies for Sunday mornings.
Serve as High Tide coordinator once/month
Learn/assist with volunteer scheduling.
Able to assist with check-in, as needed.
Attend worship service 2-3 times each month.
Help with events.
Other duties as assigned.

Personal and Professional Development

Grow spiritually through participation in worship and community groups.
Be part of the leadership culture of LBC as part of the SPLASH Leadership Team.
Receive ongoing skill training while being part of the SPLASH ministry.
