Family Pastor for Children’s Ministries
The Bible Church of Little Rock (BCLR) is seeking a Family Pastor for Children’s Ministry to complement the current pastoral staff of four. This pastoral position offers a man an opportunity of serving the Lord through the local church by using his God-given gifts and talents in the areas of family ministry, strategically focusing on parents with children 12-years-old and younger.
The Family Pastor will give leadership to families giving special attention to equipping parents with opportunities and resources to evangelize and instruct their children in the Lord. He will also be responsible for overseeing and creating discipleship environments where preschool and elementary-aged children learn to know and respond to God rightly through instruction in the gospel and basic Bible doctrine. He serves in collaboration with the other pastors (especially the Pastor of Student Ministries), Elders, and other ministry team leaders to initiate and maintain programs and activities that will encourage faith-nurturing relationships among both the parents and children of BCLR. He oversees the church administrative staff and fiscal operations and works with the Board of Deacons as they maintain BCLR facilities.
He will be a voting member of the BCLR Board of Elders and an ex-officio member of the BCLR Board of Deacons.

Description of Organization
The Bible Church of Little Rock is an autonomous, baptistic, denominationally unaffiliated, elder-led local church. The leadership is committed to the doctrines of grace while allowing for a measure of theological latitude among church members within the bounds of orthodoxy.
BCLR was conceived as a result of a conviction in the hearts of a small group of men and women that, central to the ministry of the church, there must be a commitment to the authority, reliability and the relevance of the Bible – God’s revelation of Himself and His design for mankind. They shared the conclusion of Christians of another age that “the chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever” and that “the Bible is the only rule for faith and practice.” This commitment, together with an unwavering confidence in the call of God, led to the formation of The Bible Church of Little Rock in April 1951, and formal incorporation in January 1952.Contact Via Email
