Area Ministry Director – New England
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries (GFM) seeks an Area Director to lead the team serving graduate students and faculty in New England. With a rich spectrum of institutions and disciplines represented, New England has a deep heritage and value for education. The current team of seven serves a variety of fellowships of graduate students and faculty on nine campuses. There is significant opportunity for growth and creativity.
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or team leader experience and will be a gifted administrator who leads well, has strong people skills and enjoys working with a diverse and committed group of staff and volunteers. This person must be able to clearly articulate a vision for planting and growing witnessing communities of graduate students and faculty which draws in ministry partners, potential staff and missional students and faculty leaders. Theological education and/or advanced degrees are considered an asset.
This GFM Area Director will regularly gather the team, create and implement Area-wide programs and raise personal and ministry funds.

- At least a bachelor’s degree (further education preferred)

InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries (GFM) works with graduate student chapters and/or faculty communities. Campus Staff Ministers are assigned to one or more campuses. We are hiring women and men who love the university, its ideas and people, value the life of the mind, care about leading a life which integrates studies, work and faith, and are willing to raise money from donors.
