A unique aspect of the RTS Master of Arts in Counseling program is the on-campus clinical experience offered to our students. Under the supervision of professors and other licensed mental health professionals, students see clients from the community in individual, couple, family, and group settings at the Oviedo Counseling Clinic. By the time they graduate, students will gain at least 1,000 hours of counseling experience, 400 of which are direct client counseling hours.
The Oviedo Counseling Clinic is a community mental health facility located on the RTS Orlando campus where MAC students serve as interns. Since 1994, RTS students have offered the Central Florida community accessible and affordable Christ-centered counseling through the Oviedo Counseling Center.
