DESCRIPTION:Canceled due to COVID-19. \nStudents\, faculty\, and staff are encouraged to mark their calendars for a series of three lunch events to occur this spring. The events are designed to give students greater access to the resources present in each of our primary degree programs. Each event will include a mini-lecture from an instructor in the M-Div program\, a mini-lecture from an instructor in the MAC program\, and conclude with a Q&A session involving both speakers. \nThe lectures are scheduled to occur on the first Wednesday of February\, March\, and April in the Student Center immediately following chapel. A Chick-fil-a lunch will be provided at no charge\, but registration is required. Register for the lunches and lectures by clicking on the registration page.  \nThe anticipated topics and speakers are listed below. \nWednesday\, February 5 \n\nDr. J.V. Fesko will address the need for counseling ministries to be informed by God’s two “books.”\nMr. Mike Hillerman will speak on the significance of trauma and its effects\, and how those in ministry can best help survivors of trauma.\n\nWednesday\, March 4 \n\nDr. Bruce Baugus will speak on love as our best apologetic.\nDr. Bill Richardson will address listening as a key aspect of love\, and how to listen well.\n\nWednesday\, April 1 \n\nDr. Mike McKelvey will present on Proverbs as maxims for living in the fear of the LORD.\nDr. Jim Hurley will speak on practical ways to form new habits and patterns of living.\n\nContact Jim Scott with any questions. \n
