Youth Minister

Job Description:

  • Establish and lead the Youth Ministry core team, overseeing Youth Sunday worship, teaching, and small group ac1vi1es.
  • Coordinate Youth Fellowship: collabora1ng with fellow leaders to facilitate engaging bible studies and discussions on prac1cal life applica1ons.
  • Provide discipleship training, enabling youth to learn by themselves, to teach others, and to equip others with the ability to teach (2 Timothy 2:2).
  • Conduct regular mee1ngs with parents of youths to update them on their youths’ status, offering pastoral care through a caring and loving approach.
  • Plan and organize special events (a combina1on of spiritually minded outdoor ac1vi1es and community outreach ac1vi1es): fostering a sound rela1onship with God among youth and sharing faith & provide life support & care to local youths.
  • Cooperate with RCCA’s Children Ministry Department: to ensure smooth transi1on from Children Sunday School to Youth Program.

Position Qualifications:

  • Graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) of an evangelical seminary, in alignment with RCCA’s Statement of Faith (RCCA Statement of Faith)
  • Fully commi3ed to Christ, serving as a role model for youths in spiritual maturity and character
  • Clear calling from God to serve in Youth Ministry, backed by relevant experience (in North America)
  • Familiarity with North American culture, able to communicate and preach fluently in English; willingness to serve the Chinese community (ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is a plus)

Rock Chinese Church of Aus1n (h3ps://www.rcc-aus1n.org/) is founded in 2007 and located in Northwest

of Aus1n, Texas (address: 701 Blueline Drive; Leander, TX 78641). A new church building was completed in Dc. 2021 and the church has seen rapid growth in worship attendance since then (currently adult 130-150, children below 5th grade and below 40-50, and youth sixth grade and  above ~15).

To meet growing ministry needs, we are searching for a full-1me Youth Minister .
