Technology Support Specialist

Job Description:

Ligonier Ministries, a Christian non-profit organization, is seeking a talented Technology Support Specialist to assist the Infrastructure Services team. We are looking for someone who truly loves the support side of IT—from troubleshooting to training to writing documentation!

Responsibilities 

  • Support employees on the use of endpoint devices and business applications.
  • Monitor, triage, and address service requests daily for local and remote employees.
  • Onboard employees by setting up accounts and devices and by leading orientations.
  • Help support Ligonier’s network and IT systems under the guidance of IT admins.
  • Support information security initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Provide technical support during Ligonier events and conferences.
  • Conduct occasional group training sessions for end-users on various topics.
  • Help maintain Ligonier’s inventory of technology assets (hardware and software).
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation.
  • Assist the team with other IT projects and tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications 
  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Experience supporting macOS, Windows, iOS, and iPadOS.
  • Experience with a broad range of business applications, including video conferencing.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Apple or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with MDM solutions is a plus.
  • Agreement with Ligonier’s General Statement of Faith.
  • May need to travel up to 10% of the time.

This position is for a non-profit Christian organization located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $26.00 hourly. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
