Semper Informanda: Prolegomenon
Welcome to the New Fall Semester!
To all of our new students here at RTS Orlando, I offer a warm welcome! We are grateful that God has brought you here, and consider it a true honor to be able to serve you. I look forward to getting know each one of you and learning how God has worked to bring you to this place in life.
To all returning students, it is great to have you back! This place can get a little too quiet when you are not around. Welcome back! Stop by sometime and tell me about your summer! Before you dive into the week, I want to remind you of the Fall Kickoff that is taking place on Tuesday, and Convocation that will take place on Wednesday.
Fall Kickoff - Tuesday, August 21st
This year we have worked to ensure that the Fall Kickoff has something for both new and returning students. As you review the day’s schedule please note that in each of the workshop blocks there is an option for returning students. If you have not yet RSVPed for the Kickoff, please go to the registration site here (this helps us get a head count for lunch and dinner).

Convocation - Wednesday, August 22nd
Convocation will be held in the chapel from 11:00a to 12:00n this Wednesday. If you have not attended convocation before, it is when faculty, staff, and student body are called together at the start of an academic year to call upon the Lord for His blessing. President Don Sweeting will be speaking. Please be sure to bring your family with you. Children are welcome, and it will not bother of us if they act like children! In fact, I believe they will enjoy both hearing and seeing the bagpipe player! A community lunch will follow.
