The founders of Reformed Theological Seminary from the seminaries earliest days possessed a vision for missions and international ministry. In additional to the Masters of Divinity degree program, a missions program was offered soon after the seminary’s founding. RTS also began to attract international students very early and these students returned to their home countries to establish churches, colleges, and indigenous seminaries which in turn led to their sending additional students to RTS.
Through this passion to share Christ globally and the relationships forged through international students and alumni, RTS has established numerous international partnerships through the years and RTS faculty regularly teach worldwide.
International partnerships with both ministries and educational institutions provide master’s and doctoral level courses or degree programs. Faculty from each RTS campus travel regularly to teach internationally in both our formal degree program partnerships but also in informal programs and short term teaching opportunities.
