Library Services

There is an old saying that the library is the armory of the monastery.  This holds true for seminaries as well.  It is in the library that students sharpen their intellectual arsenal and prepare their minds to engage their hearts as well as the souls of those they're called to lead and shepherd.

Our campus library currently has over 10,000 print volumes and six databases.  With several cozy sitting areas and a reading room with access to coffee and wi-fi, our library provides students with a comfortable, convenient sanctuary to refresh their minds and wrestle with the great theologians of our time and times past.  Additionally, as one campus within a larger institution, RTS Atlanta students are encouraged to utilize our interlibrary loan system and check out books from RTS' vast collection of 350,000+ volumes.  Feel free to browse our institutional library catalog here at your convenience.

Of course, we are quickly filling our library with resources to equip the church’s leaders to handle the ministry challenges of the 21st century.  Our librarian, Mr. Rick Gillert, stands as a man-at-arms to help students and faculty fulfill their information needs and is happy to provide reference services and consultations.
